Casting
I chose Callum Swingler as my male actor because he is very reliable and easy going, this made him easy to work with as he co-operated and followed instructions. Callum also has acting skills from studying A Level Drama & Theatre studies and watching him perform showed me he would be a good choice as an actor. Also, Callum is a young, white male and fits the description of the role we wanted. This was crucial as it helped show how our film challenged stereotypical assumptions of young, white teenagers as anti-social, violent and disruptive members of society. In our film, Callum helped to display this as he played a character who challenged this stereotype and played the victim.

Casting
I chose Temi Ince as my female actor because she is very enthusiastic, helpful and most importantly she is very reliable. Temi has experience in acting as she has a GCSE in Drama and she is used to performing as she is a competitive cheerleader. As did Callum, Temi helped create the vision we wanted for our film. As a young, black female Temi helped to challenge the stereotype of loud, rude and anti-social teenage girls and instead helped show the bravery, courage and caring side to teenage girls.

Script Adjustment
This was our first script. We decided to make adjustments to this script as it included the whole synopsis instead of just the opening 2mins. We found that we didn't want too much dialogue within the sequence as it would deplete the suspense within the short 2mins. Also, it was way too detailed and we definitly would not have met the 2mins limit.
List Of Equipment
- Camera
- Tripod/Monopod - At first I used a tripod, I found it difficult to maneuver as I held it quite often than I stood it up. Also, the tilt handle was not moving so it limited my camera movement. On the second day of filming I used a monopod, I found it easier as i could hold it in positions which the tripod couldn't.
- Lighting-We didn't want to create a dark atmosphere so we kept the kitchen lights on, also for the shot outside I used a standing light.
- Editing-We used iMovie HD to piece together our film and originally created our film title using Photoshop
New Synopsis
A boy is kidnapped and the kidnapper is a strong, evil calculating woman with a fascination of young men, who uses them to get what she wants. The kidnapper sends his best friend, a young girl an email with the image of her friend tied and beaten up attached to it. The image has a ransom note saying, "I've got your friend... how do you want him?" After the girl discovers the image, she receives another email instructing her on a series of impossible physical and psychological missions that she must complete to hand over £1 million to the woman and rescue her friend. The whole film focuses on whether she can pull it off and make "the cut", in the end she does and she rescues her friend, but the kidnapper who enjoys the psychological, emotional turmoil more than £1 million burns the money and escapes.
